Jon and Megan are coming for Christmas! We are really excited that they are coming. We will have to spoil Megan a bit, she broke her wrist snowboarding last weekend. She is a wonderful companion for Jon, loves outdoor activities and emergency rooms :-) too!

Jon and Megan at the "Coors Field" Colorado Rockies Stadium....they were there for history in the making, the "first ever World Series Game held in Colorado". Too bad the Rockies lost :-(

Jon spent most of the week in Rapid City Regional hospital on IV antibiotics with a staph infection. We as parents were very concerned about his health, we spent the week praying and tossing and turning at night. He was released from the hospital on Friday, doc said everything looked good!!! YEAH......so how did Jon celebrate his return to health...go home and rest, no not Jon.....he headed off to Denver to watch the World Series game. He worked real hard to get those tickets before he went to the doc to have his infection looked at...he didn't know he was so ill and would end up in the hospital later that day, priorities :-) Hope he has fun.

We had a long over due visit with Jon and Megan this month in South Dakota.
I may just be a prejudice mom, but I think they are a great looking couple!

We recently spent two weeks in Alaska, ending with a wonderful fishing trip! The picture is from Day 1 because on that day Sandi's King Salmon was the biggest! It was a great trip and very difficult to come back to the desert. We spent several days in Wrangell Alaska and started feeling like it was our new home. The place is so small it wasn't long before we were waving at people as they drove by, and knew who they were. Howard really felt like a local when he received a phone call at a local resturant. They knew he was there!!!!
