New House

This is the basement of Jon and Megan's new Home! We are so excited for them.

Rapid City, SD Nov 6, 2008

This is a photo from the "Rapid City Journal" they were hit with a BIG BLIZZARD! Howard was on his way there to hunt with Jon. He made it to Casper Wy and I-90 was shut down for the storm and remained that way for for a few days. It has reopened but is still very icy. The roads in the area they were to hunt whitetails is still closed! Howard enjoyed his stay in Casper for a couple days and then headed back home. The picture above is less than 2 miles from Jon and Megan's home. There were drifts in some areas as high as 20 feet. Lots of snow and lots of WIND. We are grateful Jon and Megan are safe, but sad that Howard wasn't able to even reach Rapid to see them.

Peaceful

The Moxley Creek runs alongside the place we stayed in Canada. The afternoon we went up the creek looking for moose and fishing....was AWESOME! I have this picture on my desktop at work. Makes me wish I was still there.

A moment

Several of our friends are in our hearts and minds this week as they grieve for loved ones, who have passed on, beloved grandfather, father and a special pet.....they are in our prayers and hearts. Take a moment this week for your loved ones and let them know how much they are loved.

One evening a lynx was out and about along the road. What great sight to see!
